Chester Pride is a busy day, with around 20,000 people attending our event. Our volunteer Stewards are key to making our event run smoothly and safely.

There's a variety of things we need help with, and we can always find something to suit everyone's ability.

Our Befriending service is dedicated to addressing mental health and loneliness within the local LGBTQ+ community. As a Volunteer Befriender, you will play a crucial role in supporting LGBTQ+ adults, fostering improved self-confidence, independence, emotional health, and overall wellbeing.

The Rainbow Tea Rooms isn't just your average spot for a cuppa; it's a vital hub for
members of our LGBTQ+ community and the powerhouse behind our fundraising
efforts! This cosy cafe plays a crucial role in generating essential funds that
contribute not only to the annual Chester Pride festival, but also support our
year-round projects, campaigns and social and support groups.

Our Box Project distributes free condoms and menstrual products around the city, to those in need.

Our volunteers help get the packets ready and distributed to all our partners.

We are looking to recruit a Volunteer Administrator for our Befriending Service. The chosen volunteer will play a crucial role in enhancing the support provided to our Befriendees by efficiently managing a comprehensive database of local, regional, and national resources. The Volunteer Administrator will also be responsible for delivering email-based administrative support and handling referrals.
