Featured Event: Chester Pride 2026
Join one of the region's largest LGBTQ+ celebrations on Saturday 15 August 2026 at Castle Square, Chester. Enjoy live entertainment, community stalls, food vendors, the Pride Parade and thousands of people coming together to celebrate inclusion, visibility and equality.

These workshops are free to attend but spaces are limited so please book on to ensure your space! This is an inclusive and LGBTQ+ welcoming workshop. We especially want to make space for stories about trans women and girls, queer lives, and the many different ways womanhood is lived, expressed and understood. You do not need to identify as a woman to take part, everyone is welcome to help us celebrate and record women’s and girls’ stories. No artistic experience is needed, and there is no right or wrong way to make a zine. All materials will be provided. With your permission, completed zines will become part of a special collection at Cheshire Archives, creating a unique record of women’s and girls’ lives in 2026 for future generations.
