Chester Pride 2026 returns Saturday 15 August at Castle Square, Chester

Volunteer with Chester Pride

Volunteer with Chester Pride and help support LGBTQ+ events, community projects and year-round activities across Chester, Cheshire and North Wales. Whether you can help at the main Pride event, support a community project or assist behind the scenes, your time can make a real difference.

Why Volunteer with Us?

Support LGBTQ+ Communities

Volunteers help us create safer, more welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ people, allies and visitors across Chester, Cheshire and North Wales. Through your support, we can welcome people at events, guide visitors, help with community activities and keep year-round projects running.

Gain New Skills

You do not need previous experience to get involved. For example, some people help at the main Pride event, while others support community projects, outreach, fundraising, administration or visitor information. Because there are different roles available, you can choose something that suits your confidence, availability and interests.

Meet New People

Volunteering can also help you build skills, meet new people and feel more connected to the local LGBTQ+ community. Most importantly, your time helps the charity continue creating inclusive spaces where people feel seen, respected and supported.
